AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Palestinian residents of Huwara village south of Nablus renewed the calls for confronting extremist settlers’ flag march on Wednesday.
The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired stun grenades and teargas bombs at Palestinians in Huwara village while they prepared to confront the Jewish settlers’ who assembled in Yitzhar settlement in preparation for the flag march.
Earlier on Tuesday, clashes erupted between the IOF soldiers and Palestinian youths after the Israeli soldiers violently removed the Palestinian flags in the Huwara village.
IOF soldiers had blocked the roads connecting the village of Huwara to other villages for several days as a collective punishment for the village residents who repeatedly raised the Palestinian flags after they were removed.
